Friday Favorites - Images that Capture the Imagination

Imagination. Such a little word that can result in something huge. Someone once imagined a light coming from something other than fire, transportation coming from something other than a horse, diseases that could be stopped before killing...etc. Imagination can be life changing. It is the start of adventures, success, ideas, trends, stories, and products. Most everything you touch began with some one's imagination.

Do you ever look at something and imagine where it came from, what the story behind it is, where its been, what you could do with it? Do you ever see a picture and imagine the story it tells? Ever watch people in a big city or airport and observe the diversity in style, culture, and lingo? What is their background, what is their world like? Creativity is not talent, it is just translating your imagination into something tangible. Everyone has some area that interests them, and everyone can improve that area by using the valuable tool of imagination. Here a few images that spark my imagination, all gleaned from my Pinterst boards. These pictures create a story in my head, a feeling, an idea that I can translate into the things that I make.

Imagination isn't just for kid's fair tale books, its for grown ups too. Try thinking outside of your normal routine every once and a while...you may be pleasantly surprised at the result.
     Happy Weekend!
